This book emerged from a deeply personal place. About a week before her mother died, author Tish McAllise Sjoberg asked if she had any regrets. Her mother said yes-she had always wanted to be an artist. After 73 years, that was her deepest regret, not for something she had done wrong, but how she had wronged herself in an almost invisible way. Always putting others' needs and wants first, she never became who she wanted to be.

Her mother's regret became fuel for Tish's own creative path. Determined not to let a single day pass where she didn't honor her mother and her own desire to be an artist, Tish embarked on her first 365 Days of Art project. She committed to making art every day for a year and never stopped. At the publication of this book, she celebrates over 20 years of making art daily.
