Linda L: 41 Years Sober in AA Resilience

I began working on this book ten years ago. At that time I started

writing stories I'd heard in meetings in my early sobriety,

stories of people whose words and lives getting (and staying)

sober helped me. I thank the late Bud Goodall, my colleague

at Arizona State University at the time, who got me started on

writing this book. He knew I had a story to tell and nudged me

on until I started writing it down, pushing me along even when

I wasn't ready to publish it. So, my thanks begin with him and

also with my fellow travelers in Alcoholics Anonymous.
