The C Is Silent is the first in a two-part memoir-an unflinching ode to women who have lived through abuse without realizing the war they've been surviving. Where PTSD has long been tied to soldiers, Complex PTSD is the invisible battlefield of everyday life, where one trauma layers on another until the weight becomes its own silence. Told through raw, layered "complexes," Monica exposes how trauma compounds, how it shapes love and identity, and how surviving it at all is its own act of defiance.
