To my ancestors-your lives and your journeys ensured that my life

and my journey would come to be. I do not pretend to know, nor do I

even understand what you had to endure while you walked this earth.

But I do believe that you have been with me since I took my first breath.

You watch over me, you speak to me, you guide me. Anything that

I have accomplished or achieved is not because of what I know, but

rather a reflection of your guidance, as it is on your shoulders I stand.
