The poems within this small book are what I wrote whilst going through a very abusive relationship, both physically and mentally. I have been writing poetry since the age of 12 and these poems are my deepest, darkest and most painful that I have wrote and all stem from my abusive relationship and my subsequent ongoing mental health battle. It has taken me years to decide whether to make these poems public because they are so personal to me, a constant reminder of the hell and shame that I went through and my current state of mental health. I have made the decision to publish my poems in the hope that it may help others suffering with mental health issues and to show that there is light at the end of that dark tunnel.
